BRIDALS AND GROOMALS

Last night we got our bridals and groomals done!! I was a little bit nervous because I hate getting my picture taken, I'm not photogenic, and I just feel awkward. WELL, let me just tell you.... I have the BEST photographer ever!! Her name is Tiffany and her company is called
Tiffany D Photography. You can check her out under my favorites where I have a link to her blog. If you need pics taken for ANYTHING, I would HIGHLY recommend her because if she can put up with me and Travis for over 2 hours AND get AMAZING pictures, then she HAS to be good. She was so nice and it felt like we were all just hanging out and having a good time. It definitely took the pressure and the awkwardness out of the night and made everything go really well. I am so glad that she will be at the temple and at our reception with us because I know that she will do a fantastic job!! It was the perfect night and we had a lot of fun. I can't wait to see all of the pictures and share them with all of you at my wedding!! Thank you Tiffany for your help, your advice, and most of all for making last night absolutely fantastic!! I truly appreciate your time and your talent!! Thanks!!

We've set a date....

AUGUST 1st is the official day of our wedding.  We are getting married in the St. George Temple and then we will have a reception here that evening.  For those of you in Ogden, if you want to come, you are more than welcome to join us in St. George, but we won't be having anything in Ogden.  Sorry.  I am really excited and can't wait for the day to come.  The good news is that, it isn't that far away.  ha ha

I'M ENGAGED!!

Yesterday was a day that I will never forget!!  Travis asked me to marry him and I said YES!!  It was incredible, Travis is so amazing!!  He asked me to be ready at 6:20 in the morning.  I know that you are thinking that this is strange or way too early, but me and Travis like to go hiking and looking for sheds, so this is normal.  We usually leave early so that it is still cool.  I got ready like normal, and I was late, like normal.  Travis had brought me breakfast and was rushing me out the door.  I didn't understand because we usually don't have a schedule.   Anyways, I got into his truck and as we started driving down the road, he handed me a blindfold and said that we were going to do something really exciting and he didn't want me to see until we got there.  So, I put the blindfold on (this was really scary) and we drove for a few minutes, then he put me into another car with people that I didn't know.  I was so confused.  We drove for a few minutes and the boys in the car were chatting it up while I was scared for my life.  When we stopped, everyone got out and left me in the car with the music up full blast.  A few minutes later, Travis came and got me out of the car and took my blindfold off.  Right in front of me was a beautiful hot air balloon.  I was so excited!!  I got in, and away we went.  When we got up in sky and were at about 3,000 feet, Travis got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!  Of course I said YES!!  He put the ring on my finger and then we enjoyed the rest of the ride!!  It was like something in the movies!! After we got done, we headed up to the cabin to relax, spend time with Trav's parents,  and enjoy the day!!  I seriously can't think of a better day!!  Now it is time to plan a wedding!!  WOW!!  I get a little overwhelmed thinking about it, but the excitement takes over and I can't wait!!  NO, WE DON'T HAVE A DATE YET, but I will let you know as soon as I know!!  Here are a few pictures, I will get more on here ASAP.  Trav's camera went dead after the first 5 minutes of our ride, but the guy that took us had a disposable camera, so we have to get those developed!!  ENJOY!!

Just a little update...

Well, I am now 26 and officially an old woman!! ha ha I guess I'm not that old, I'm just feeling a lot older!! My birthday was fantastic!! I went to school and my class threw me a surprise party!! They are so cute and it was a lot of fun! I have some amazing parents! After school I went up to Trav's house and he had decorated the whole living room with balloons and all sorts of fun things! It was a fun surprise. After that, we went to dinner and the movies with my dad and had a good time. I got lots of fun things and really enjoyed my birthday!! I'm glad that I have great friends, family and a wonderful boyfriend!!
This weekend was really eventful and super fun!! On Sarturday we (me and Trav) went to Las Vegas to go to the drag races. (that was part of my birthday present) and watched the races!! I have never been, so I was really excited. I can't believe how fast those cars are!! They shook my whole body! (it was crazy) Then on Sunday (because it was conference and we didn't have church) Me and Trav, along with Jessie, Jon, and their cute little girl Mylie went out four wheeling. We went out looking for elk sheds and I FOUND MY FIRST ONE!! It was really exciting until a few minutes later when Trav came back with one twice the size of mine. Oh well, it was exciting anyways. Trav found an Elk shed and two deer sheds!! One of them was enormous!! It was a really fun day and a good ending to a great weekend!!

A Great Weekend!!

This weekend was just what I needed. On Friday me and Travis went to dinner and just enjoyed spending time together. We went for a walk around the temple and then just hung out at Trav's house. It wasn't anything crazy, but it was nice to relax and be with each other. Then on Saturday I got some laundry done and cleaned my house, then I went and helped Trav clean. After a long day of cleaning, we went for a dreadful visit to the grocery store (I HATE GROCERY SHOPPING)!! Later, we went for a little drive and a little hike. That night we watched the UFC fights and just had a quiet night at home. Sunday was the main event. Trav got ordained an Elder and was given the Preisthood. Trav's whole family came down to support him. I can't even explain the love that this family has for each other. Trav was so glad that everyone was there!! I absolutely love his family, I love being with them, and I love spending time with them. I am so proud of Travis and the man that he is. I am so lucky to have him and to be a part of his life. He is such a great example to me and everyone around him. He can always make me smile and when he walks into a room, it lights up. I am so thankful to have him and the happiness that he brings into my life !! Thanks to everyone who came down!! Thank you for your support, your love, and your spirit!! WE LOVE YOU!!
